Terrence Clarke, 19, dies in a traffic accident in Los Angeles.

The Dorchester native had been seen as the finest player from Boston on many years. After attending Brewster Academy and playing one year at the University of Kentucky basketball team, he was training in Los Angeles for the National Basketball Association draft, where he was projected as a first-round pick. His sudden death shocks the Boston basketball community.
